5’ x 5’ Storage Unit

A 5’ x 5’ unit is a bit bigger and about a small walk-in closet size. 5’ x 10’ Storage

The next size is a narrow 5’ x 15’ storage unit approximately 30% larger than the previous size. You can fit a full-sized bedroom suite, items from a small studio apartment, or about 10-15 moving boxes or totes. You can even store your motorcycle for the winter in this size unit.

10’ x10’ Storage

The 10’ x 10’ is the most popular size because of its versatility. This unit is medium-sized with about one hundred square feet, about half the size of a standard one-car garage.  You can fit all the contents of a small one-bedroom apartment, major appliances, or 10-20 moving boxes or totes.

10’ x 15’ Storage

At 150 square feet, this unit size is the most versatile. You can store up to the contents of a small house or a large two-bedroom apartment, including appliances, furniture, and a piano. Even a compact car can fit into this storage unit size. For business use, it holds three office spaces, boxes, and extra-large office equipment.

10’ x 20’ Storage

A 10’ x 20’ unit is the size of a standard one-car garage. At 200 square feet, it can accommodate furniture and belongings from a two to three-bedroom home, antiques, or recreational vehicles such as jet skis, motorbikes, or dirt bikes. It’s also a great option for storing items while you redecorate or renovate a home. For business use, it’s useful for cleaning out office space or storing inventory.

10’ x 30’ Storage

The largest residential storage unit size is 10’ x 30’ with about three hundred square feet. It can hold the contents of a four-bedroom house. If you have a large family or growing business, and you need ample space, it doesn’t get any better than this.
